The scenery was breathtaking, the guesthouses I stayed at ranged from passable to very good, and there was no evidence of earthquake damage. I arrived in Kathmandu on October 5 and left there on October 23. An embargo resulting from a political dispute between Nepal and India caused some fuel shortages, but this did not have any significant impact on my trip. I traveled with two friends, and we did not hire a guide or porter. For those less experienced in a mountain environment, I would recommend engaging a guide and/or porter Nepal Planet Planet Treks Kathmandu Nepal

Best Trekking Guides in Nepal 2015

Everest Base Camp Trekking / Guide to Everest 2015/2016 | Nepal Guide Info   Amazing adventure in Nepal with Sanjib Adhikari. Nepal Planet Trekking

In January this year my wife and I visited Nepal. We made contact with Sanjib eight months prior as a result of other people's recommendations from different travel blogs.
Sanjib met us at the airport on arrival, took us to our hotel (which he had booked for us) and helped us settle in by showing us around the area.
We did a 7 day trek with Sanjib. Throughout that time Sanjib was always professional ,informative and always had our safety as a priority. Everything was well organised.
Nepal Planet Treks (Sanjib) was also extremely helpful in arranging other tours for us at a good price.
A couple of months ago I returned to Nepal by myself to do some volunteer work. It was quite overwhelming for me to travel by myself being a single female. He made contact with me and made me feel welcome again in Nepal.
I became extremely ill due to pre existing health issues. Sanjib came to help me in hospital and also took me to specialist appointments. He checked on me everyday and brought food to me. Sanjib was amazing and myself and my husband are very grateful for all his help and support. We plan to go back to Nepal early next year with our two teenagers and look forward to seeing Sanjib again. The people you hire not only are your guides in Nepal they become your friend. A friend we are glad to have.

#Annapurna Circuit Trek 2016 - 19 Days

Annapurna round trekking 2015
The Annapurna Circuit is a popular name for a trek within the Annapurna mountain range of central Nepal. The total length of the route varies between 160–230 km (100-145 mi), depending on where the motor transportation is used and where the trek is ended. The trek rises to an altitude of 5,400m on the Thorung La pass, touching the edge of the Tibetan plateau. This trek crosses two different river valleys and encircles the Annapurna massif, crossing Thorung La (5416m), the highest pass on this trek. Practically all trekkers hike the route counter clockwise, as then the daily altitude gain is slower and crossing the high Thorong La pass is easier and safer.
